How can I scan from my 3 In 1 Printer?

My 3 in 1 is an HP Deskjet F380. Printing and copying work perfectly but I can’t make it scan.

Are you getting a message saying that it can’t find the programme, or it’s trying to install the programme? If so, this would indicate that you probably don’t have the scanning software installed.

Insert the CD that came with your All-in-One/Multi-Function Device and look for a folder that might be labelled TWAIN or Scanner. This will be the one that you need to install.

If you don’t have the CD to hand, download the latest driver(s) for your HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One Printer from the following page. (HP (United Kingdom).)

You don’t state which Operating System you’re using on your Computer so, I’m afraid, the best I can do is point you to the page where you select it, by clicking on the hyperlink which takes you to the correct page.

I’d advise that you download HP Photosmart Software and Drivers: USB Support. I appreciate that this is the largest sized file, but it’s the one that’s most likely going to contain all the drivers and software that you need.
